The studio combines architectural thinking with over three decades of experience across complex cultural, infrastructure, commercial and technically demanding projects; supporting clients, consultants, contractors and project teams through design development, coordination, delivery and project risk.
Alongside architectural commissions, the practice provides specialist oversight, technical problem solving, delivery strategy and executive-level support where clarity, momentum and design integrity must remain aligned from concept through to completion.

Nick Hancock has worked across projects of all scales and complexity, developing experience and design pedigree through some of the world’s leading architectural and multidisciplinary design practices, including Richard Rogers Partnership, AHMM, Balmond Studio and Adjaye Associates.
Over more than three decades, he has contributed to projects ranging from private residences and public realm interventions to major cultural, infrastructure, commercial and mixed-use developments. This experience has provided a unique combination of architectural design, technical leadership and project delivery expertise across a broad range of sectors, scales and procurement environments.
Working within internationally recognised project teams provided exposure to projects of exceptional complexity and significance, requiring the coordination of multidisciplinary consultants, contractors and stakeholders across multiple countries and delivery frameworks. These experiences developed both a strong design pedigree and a practical understanding of how successful projects are conceived, coordinated and delivered.
Today, NHDS brings these experiences together within a single flexible practice. Combining architectural design, technical leadership and strategic oversight, the studio is able to support projects across a wide range of sectors and scales; applying lessons learned from some of the industry’s most demanding project environments to help clients navigate complexity with clarity, confidence and purpose.
