World Trade Center 3 forms part of the wider World Trade Center redevelopment in Lower Manhattan, New York. Designed by Rogers Stirk Harbor + Partners, the project contributes to the regeneration of one of the world’s most significant urban sites, creating a major commercial tower within the new Manhattan skyline.

Following his departure from Richard Rogers Partnership, Nick Hancock was invited back by former colleagues to support the development of the project through concept and scheme design stages.

Working as part of a dedicated project team under the leadership of Richard Paul and the senior partnership team, he contributed to the rapid development, coordination and documentation of the design during a critical phase of the project.

The role focused on design development, technical coordination, architectural documentation and the integration of structural and architectural systems, supporting the progression of a highly complex commercial tower within a demanding international project environment.

The completed building forms a key component of the wider World Trade Center masterplan and remains an important part of New York City’s contemporary skyline.
